About Me.

I am a registered physiotherapist with 20+ years of clinical experience.  My background is in orthopaedics, and my interest in special needs have led me to focus on paediatrics for the last 12+ years.  I have provided treatment to children in private clinic, school, daycare, community home-care, and now offer private physiotherapy services in your own home.

My Approach.

One-to-one physiotherapy through hands-on techniques, movement play, and games to address strength and flexibility concerns as well as promote coordination, balance and proprioception.  My focus is to help parents and caregivers link therapy goals with real life activities to make home treatment functional, motivating, and FUN for their children.

In-Home and Telerehabilitation Services

During COVID-19 I started providing telehealth rehabilitation services virtually in my clients' homes, and will continue to offer it as an alternative to in-home therapy when it is appropriate.

Otherwise, I am resuming in-person treatment, following COVID-19 protocols to help protect you, your families, and mine.

Exercise Recommendations

I select exercise programming to address flexibility, strength, balance, coordination and/or endurance and can work individually with your child for blocks of therapy or consult over time to establish and progress independent home programs.

Education is a key component of therapy that can make all the difference to the family and the client in learning how to improve or negotiate physical concerns and challenges.  Questions and timely observations can help guide therapy goals and provide valuable insights in development of an effective treatment plan.
